Here is proof that Sister Holich CAN sing!

Tonight at B-day dinner group we had so much fun! We had lots of tasty food, great adult conversation and a little Beatles Rock Band :) Thanks to all those sisters who came-- I know that some of you who planned on coming decided to stay in (due to the mini-blizzard we had this evening). Hopefully next month the snow will be gone! Hey I can *wish* right?

Love you guys!
Allison

February Writing Group

Well, we just finished up our first writing group.  We had a very small turnout although we had an enjoyable time telling stories from our past and about our ancestry.

In March we will be doing a more "Introduction" to those who attend and also talking about characters.  Since everyday we wake up to characters, live with characters, be our own character, or make up a character, we will take the chance to learn about our fellow "characters" in relief society.  Those that do come anyway.  I'm excited for this next one in March.

So mark your calendars for March 10th at 7 p.m. (tentatively scheduled for now--things may change).  And remember...if you like to blog, journal, collect memoirs, write fiction, nonfiction, children's stories, or just want to learn how to do one of these things or just want to chill with the ladies of the Belvidere Branch Relief Society--come!  We'd love to have you.  Bring friends and remember, I live in Candlewick so I will need to know who is coming so I can call you in at the gate.  Thanks!

"If you don't have the time to read, you don't have the time or tools to write.  Simple as that." ~Stephen King

But I say, "If you have the time to read, you have the time to create a web of words.  Simple as that."

Remember we're always thinking and praying for you!  We love you!

2009 Christmas Dinner & Cookie Exchange

On December 2, 2009 our branch held it's annual Christmas Dinner/Cookie Exchange at the Stake Center. It was incredibly fun where we got to hear stories of past memories of family traditions from Sister Moss, Sister Holich and Sister Gobble. The presidency made aprons for all the sisters and young women as you can see us all in our fine aprons we picked out for ourselves. It is such an amazing sisterhood that we have in this branch and we love all the sisters. Thanks for making this past Christmas Cookie Exchange so much fun!

Love much!
